Motorola Moto G :The Budget Smartphone : Review and Specification

 Motorola Moto G

Hello friends today lets recheck Moto G features. I was searching for a budget smartphone and in all sites I found this smartphone at the top list. Is it worth buying lets check.

At first we need to know about its best features which can make it different from other smartphones like Micromax Nitro and others.

Features and looks

  • Its slim box, yes this is also a feature. When you will buy this smartphone you will get it packed in a slim-type box, which is so attractive.
  • A modern look. See the picture above it shows a royal look of the phone. The moto G and moto X has a same look.
  • The Moto g comes with a 4.5 inches screen.
  • The moto G does not have any logo of Motorola on ints front panel.
  • The rear panel is curved and made of poly-carbonate, which makes it comfortable to hold.
  • The battery is non-removable.
  • The 3.5 mm audio jack is on the top. And the usb port at the bottom.
  • It has 5 mp camera with an LED flash. A 1.3 mp camera on front.
  • The speaker is at the back left to the camera.
  • An embossed motorola logo is at the back panel.
  • It has a 720 x 1280 pixel screen. And a density of 329 ppi.
  • It has a corning glass 3 protection to protect it from scratches.
  • The viewing angles are good enough.
  • It comes with android 4.3 but can be updated to 4.4.2 (kitkat)
So, after seeing the specs you would think that the phone is somewhat like buying. But now lets check its cons.

  • The first thing which many of you may not like is the on screen control buttons. This features should not be in a phone with 4.5 inches. Todays users like a big screen phone with many features. And a physical led buttons that we find in rest smartphones looks very nice. See the picture, you would see the blank space in the bottom. This just makes the phone bigger and bulky to hold.
  • Storage cannot be expanded. Now a days google play is giving many latest and crazy apps and games to download and they are unlimited, then how can we keep our enjoyments limited.
  • The front 1.3 mp camera should be of 2 mp at least.
  • The rear camera should be atleast 8mp to 13mp. Nowadays many budget smartphone are offering 13mp camera at this price range.

So now you can decide, weather you should buy this phone or not. Before coming to the point please refer to Micromax Nitro and Intex Aqua i4 + once.

    1. If you are looking for smartphone around 10000, I would recommend you to see Moto X, Micromax canvas nitro or the Karbonn Titanium Octane Plus.
